  • Show Ball | Camden Show 2025

Camden Show Ball The Camden Show Ball is a prestigious annual event celebrating community spirit and tradition in the lead-up to the Camden Show. Featuring an elegant evening of dining, dancing, and the presentation of the Camden Show Young Woman of the Year, it honours the region’s agricultural heritage while bringing together locals and supporters for a night of fun and connection. The Camden Show Young Woman Competition (formerly known as The Showgirl Competition) seeks to find a passionate and capable young female ambassador for the Camden Show and the broader Agricultural Show movement. This program highlights leadership, rural knowledge, and a commitment to community. The winning Young Woman for the Camden Show is selected by a panel of judges and will represent Camden at the Zone Finals, with the opportunity to progress to the prestigious Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman Competition. Entrants must have a genuine interest in and knowledge of rural NSW and are judged on criteria including rural knowledge, general knowledge, community involvement, communication skills, personality, confidence, and ambassadorial potential. The competition fosters personal growth, leadership, and community engagement, inspiring the next generation while shining a light on the vital role of women in rural communities. The winner will be announced during the Camden Show, a proud moment for both the recipient and the community. Presidents From the President On behalf of the Camden Show Society’s committee and members it is with pleasure that I welcome you to the 139th annual Camden Show. Once again, the committee has worked tirelessly over the last twelve months to ensure our community is presented with a spectacular show over two days packed with a diverse array of events that capture the essence of rural life in our district. “Still a Country Show” has been the motto of the Society for many years. Our links to the past are important and agriculture has had an integral part to play in our regions history and will continue to do so well into the future. This year competitions will include Dairy and Beef Cattle, Goats, Sheep and Alpacas, Sheep Dog & Wood Chop competitions, along with Arts, Crafts, Cooking and other displays in the Show Hall which are a true testament to the creativity and talent within our community. The 2025 Show will have all the favourites returning such as Racing Pigs, Sheep Dog demonstrations, along with Reptile, Sheep Shearing and Milking displays presented at multiple times throughout the show to ensure everyone has a chance to attend. Two big days of family fun with many exciting events and something for everybody. As always, carnival rides will be operating throughout the duration of the show. On Friday night, get ready for an adrenaline-pumping experience with the Rodeo brought to you by Xtreme Bulls. This exhilarating event showcases the skill and bravery of riders as they attempt to conquer spirited bulls, making for a thrilling spectacle that is sure to leave you on the edge of your seat. For those that wish to lay back under the stars to watch the Rodeo, make your way into the Main Arena to catch all the action on the Big Screen. The Poultry Pavilion promises a feathered spectacle, showcasing an array of poultry breeds, along with our Farm Produce display in our newly refurbished pavilion. The two days of Show Jumping in the Main Arena along with many other Equestrian competitions provide great ringside entertainment for the whole family. Don’t forget to drop into the Style Pavilion and Country Bar to peruse locally made wares and try locally produced delicacies and refreshments. As the sun sets on Saturday night, prepare to be awe-struck by the dazzling fireworks display in the main arena presented by the best in the business - Foti Fireworks. This spectacular show of lights is a fitting conclusion to two full days filled with excitement and entertainment. None of this would be possible without the generous support of our sponsors and volunteers. The Camden Show Society extends our heartfelt gratitude to each and every sponsor and volunteer who has contributed to making this event a reality. Are rides included in entry ticket? The entry fee includes all the entertainment that is happening on the grounds (Check out our 60 included things to do in your ticket linked below!). I'm sorry it doesn't include rides, rides are an independent operator known as the Showmans Guild. The price guide that they have provided us with is that most rides range from $10 - $20. There isn't a bulk deal but rides may have bulk tickets themselves. Safety Around Animals Although most show animals are domesticated, they can cause injury and should be treated with caution. The size and bulk of some animals can make them potentially dangerous. Please advise young children of the following: Do not make any sudden movements or loud noises. This may startle the animals. Do not poke or tease animals or imitate the sound an animal makes. Only touch animals if the owner is present and gives his or her permission to do so. Do not stand behind the animals. Quietly speak to the animal as you approach to avoid frightening the animal. Move slowly in single file when around animals. Cows can see nearly 360 degrees without moving their heads. A quick movement from behind is just as likely to frighten them as a movement from the front. Allow enough space between yourself and the animals to avoid being stepped on, kicked or bitten. Be extra careful around small newborn animals. Adult females are more aggressive when protecting their young. Touch animals gently. Do not push or shove. Very young children, particularly in prams, should not be moved close to an animal and the child should not be encouraged to pat. Wash hands thoroughly immediately after touching animals. Hand sanitiser and washing facilities are provided. What time is parades, rodeo and night show? Camden Show has so much happening all the time with things to see and do. The customer service team will then forward your ticket/s within 1 business day. Can I use my NSW Companion Card? Cardholders receive free entry for one support person (carer) accompanying them to the Show. The NSW Companion Card must be presented at the entry gate for validation. The cardholder must purchase a valid Concession Ticket, as the free entry applies only to the accompanying support person. I was ordering online and lost internet connection / or the internet site went down. Have I been charged? The 1st thing to check is if your ticket has been delivered to your nominated email address. If it has then your order and payment has been processed. If no email is received then please complete the following steps: a) check your bank account to see if a payment has been processed, and b) call our Customer Service team on 1800 381 939 (or email support@ticketebo.com.au) so we can confirm if your order was processed or not. Pass outs are available at each gate at the discretion of security, to allow customers re-entry to the Show. Pass outs are only available prior to 9.30pm and subject to the Camden Show Showground Conditions of Entry. You will receive a hand stamp on exit to present on re-entry.
