SHOWCASING AGRICULTURE FROM PADDOCK TO PLATE

 

PROMOTE YOUR SCHOOL TO OVER 30000 VISITORS

 

 

Local High schools are invited to participate in the McDonalds Schools Education displays tent. At the 2012 Camden Show, the schools display tent will adopt the theme of ‘Year of the Farmer’ within their Paddock to Plate display.

 

This concept aims to achieve the following objectives:

 

• Educate the increasing population of Macarthur area about local agricultural connections
• Education of the community of ‘where does our food come from?’
• Highlighting the importance of farmers
• Exposure of local schools and provide an opportunity to communicate with the community
• Provide educational ‘trail’ for show visitors


How to participate

 

Schools need to complete a REGISTRATION FORM and select a ‘theme’ for their display.

Schools are encouraged to nominate 3 themes, numbered in priority, 1-3, as themes will not be duplicated. Early registration, by 16th February will help ensure your desired theme is obtained.

 

What will be expected of schools?

 

Schools will be required to create a display that showcases their school, adopt their selected theme throughout the display and incorporate the 2012 theme of ‘Year of the Farmer’.

 

The Schools displays will form an integral part of the Camden Show Education area.

 

Each school will be allocated a designated area. The size of the display area will be confirmed once registrations are receive
