Be a vibrant part of the 2012 Camden Show by creating your very own scarecrow with your school. The scarecrows will create a feature display around the education area of the Camden Show.
Scarecrows can be as traditional or as imaginative as possible and the competition is open to pre-school, primary and high school groups.

CRITERIA: Scarecrows are to represent the theme ‘Sustainability for our future’
CATEGORY 1 Preschool / Play group
CATEGORY 2 Kindergarten to Year 2
CATEGORY 3 Year 3 to Year 6
CATEGORY 4 Year 7 to Year 8

PRIZES:
Each Category winner will receive an in-school sustainability project from Bunnings Narellan, following a Sustainability tour of the Bunnings store.

at 11am Friday 23rd March 2012.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
• Scarecrows must be made on the stands provided by The Camden Show Society.
• School groups must complete a “SCARECROW APPLICATION FORM” by 10th February, 2012 to receive a scarecrow stand.
• Minimum scarecrow height is 1 metres and maximum height is 2 metres.
• All Scarecrow entries must be able to remain on display outside. They will need to be able to withstand all types of weather conditions and all parts must be securely attached.
• You may use props or accessories to enhance your scarecrow but please do not use valuables. Camden Show Society will not be responsible for any damage to scarecrow or loss of any accessories.
• Your scarecrow must be ready for display when delivered to Education Tent.
• Entries are limited to 3 scarecrows per category per school.
DELIVERY:
• Scarecrows are to be delivered to the Camden Show Education Tent on Thursday 22nd March 2012 between 1pm – 4.30pm.
• Exhibits to be accompanied by an SCARECROW ENTRY FORM
COLLECTION
• Scarecrows may be collected on Sunday 25th March between 9am and 10am only at the Education Tent.
