The Inaugural Camden Show Farmer of the Year Awards will be launched at this years show
The Camden Show Society is searching for the district’s best farmers to enter the inaugural Camden Show Farmer of the Year 2012. Who will be announced as our first very own “Farmer of the Year”. Camden Show invites local farmers involved in all types of farming from Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly LGAs to enter.

CONGRATULATIONS to April Browne, the winner of this the 50th Camden Showgirl Competition.
In 2011 April showed her Brown Swiss stud cattle at both the Camden Show and the Sydney Royal Easter Show.April has great aspirations for the future hoping to establish her own dairy farm and develop her stud to the point at which the genetics are sort after across Australia, whilst marketing show cattle. April believes that “in the current and future agriculture and economic climate diversification will be an effective and necessary means of developing a successful business”. April hopes to combine her business venture with her passion for teaching to educate and develop the potential of future rural youth.
