The weather was fantastic on Show days, helping our exhibitors in all facets of the show present their livestock, produce and craft to an immaculate standard . Over 41,000 people enjoyed their time at the Camden Show conf irming our Country Show as one of the Macarthur regions premier community events.
There were many highlights of the Show includ ing the Show Jumping held on beautiful grounds, an exhilarating Friday night Rodeo, a sheep show that caused the tent to bulge with entries, NAB entertainment stage, the Pavilion, the Country and Lifest yle tents , Wood Chop, Dairy and Beef cattle, the many horse rings operating in the main ring and at Bicentennial Equestrian Park, a huge and colourfu l grand parade and the Goats and Alpaca's. The Night show entertained us with the Teams programme with a team point system adding to the public's interest. The Brumby Run once again proving to be a crowd favourite. The Show concluding on Saturday evening with our finale , the Henning 's Jewellers Fireworks spectacular presented by Foti Internati onal that did not disappoint.
We see the education of our community about agriculture and our food as an important role. Friday 3p t March saw close to 4,000 school children and Teachers enter the showgrounds at no cost allowing us to provide hands on experiences to the younger generations , all leaving richer fo r the experience.
Camden Show is a commun ity event run largely by a committee of 55 volunteers helped on Show days by 400+ community volunteers . It is truly an event run by the community for the commun ity and we appreciate the efforts of everyone involved to run this event.
